1. Name titles are no longer mandatory in the PNR create or STAR build scripts. (5.15)

Add Segments Functions

1.  A problem with the script not capturing flight times for Pacific Coastal YK segments has been fixed. (5.01)

2. The script for adding TOR segments has been modified to offer the option to add segment-associated remarks once the TOR segment has been added to the PNR. This will allow you to add detailed information in remarks that will be associated with the actual TOR segment on any itinerary. This feature can be used for FIT bookings where there are multiple products listed for the same vendor and same booking number. It will allow you to itemize components of the FIT booking and price of each component without the need to add multiple TOR segments and multiple accounting lines for the same vendor and booking number. (5.05)

3. When adding WS and AC YK segments, the airline record locator will be added to the segment. (5.06)

4. The script that adds flight booked with tour companies will now include the option to specify stops. When stops are specified, you will be prompted to enter the location of the stop and this will be added as a segment-associated remark referencing the air segment. (5.18)

5. The option in the Add Segments menu to add an OTH segment for seat-selection only now includes WestJet as well as Air Canada. (5.20)

6. The guaranteed ticketing script will now capture the WestJet confirmation number from the WestJet air segments instead of the P3 remarks (5,21, 5.22)

7. For Trams agencies, when adding a LAN segment for a limo or bus booking, the script will check if there are any OTH segments in the PNR, and if not, will automatically add an OTH segment. This is because Trams will not recognize an accounting line that references a LAN segment. (5.25)

8. For the guaranteed ticketing script for WestJet, the script will read the Q surcharge entries from the fare calculation lines of the price quote. The script will then calculate the commission on the base fare less the Q surcharges. You will be prompted to review the Base Fare less Q surcharges, and the Q surcharges total to ensure they are captured correctly from the Price Quote. (5.29)

9. The seat selection option from the Add Segments menu now included an option for Porter Airlines. (5.32)

10. There is a new script to add APAY remarks and an accounting line for WestJet seat fees. This script can be accessed from either the accounting functions or ticketing and pricing functions menus. (5.37)

11. The script that adds SEA segments and remarks for cruise bookings will now use Embark and Debark dates instead of sailing and return dates. (5.40)

STAR Functions

1. Name titles are no longer mandatory in the STAR build scripts. (5.15)

Ticketing and Pricing Functions

1. In the FP Line script, the maximum number of characters allowed for the fare basis + ticket designator fields for Phase 3.5 transactions, is increased from 13 to 15. (5.20)

Hotel and Car Booking Functions

1. The ability to specify a special equipment code has been added to the car booking script. (5.25)

2. The situation in the hotel booking script where the script would not read the credit card guarantee information from the H# line in the PNR, if there was a space between EXP and the expiry date has been fixed. (5.26)

3. Fixed a problem where the fax number was not being captured from the Sabre hotel display, when adding a manual hotel segment. (5.28)

4. For the car booking script, there was a problem where in some cases, RC-BEST was being added before the SQ special equipment request entry, causing the booking request to fail. This has been fixed. (5.33)

Accounting Functions

1. The tax rates have been changed to 5.00% for GST and 13.00% for HST. (5.00)

2. Azamara Cruises has been added to the vendor menus. (5.01)

3. Commission calculation for Calm Air now includes surcharges. (5.02)

4. The default WestJet commission for bookings made by July 15 is updated to 11%. (5.09)

5. As of September 1, the script will only calculate commission on the WestJet base fare. (5.15)

6. Programming logic has been added to ensure that vendor numbers for WestJet and Air Canada web bookings are cleared between bookings. (5.22)

7. For Trams agencies, the option to reference an accounting line to a LAN segment has been removed. (5.25)

8. For U.S originating WestJet bookings, the GST code will default to D. (5.32)

9. Default commissions for WestJet and for Air Canada domestic Tango fares have been updated to 7%. (5.33)

10. In the Sabre guaranteed ticketing script, for Porter Airlines, commissions will be calculated on the fare only and not the surcharges. (5.33)

11. In the Sabre guaranteed ticketing script, the Q surcharges were not always being added to the fare in the accounting line, when an agency credit card was used for payment. This has been fixed. (5.33)

12. There is a new script to add APAY remarks and an accounting line for WestJet seat fees. This script can be accessed from either the accounting functions or ticketing and pricing functions menus. (5.37)

13. For WestJet web bookings, the script will now prompt for a ticket number to be entered in the document number field of the accounting line. (5.37)

14. The PER person accounting line option has been removed from the WestJet APAY script. The script will now use the ALL format, so the accounting line will have the total charges in the case of multi-passenger PNRs. (5.40)

15. The option for multiple forms of payment has been added to the AC web booking accounting script. (5.40)

16. For Porter bookings, the script will present a menu of commission options. (5.44)

 PNR Remarks

1. Baggage remarks have been removed for WestJet flights booked via tour operators, since these vary by specific tour operator, and are provided to clients as part of the e-documents sent by the tour operators. (5.01)

2. Tourist Fares has been added to the fare type menu for Air Canada remarks. (5.01)

3. Remarks for Swanberg Air Edmonton departures have been changed to reflect the Edmonton City Centre Airport. (5.01)

4. Remarks for Tango fares been updated to reflect a $60 change fee. (5.03)

5. A remark has been added to the general check-in remarks to state: "Baggage Allowances Vary by Destination and Airline. Please Check with Airline Directly". (5.06)

6. Remarks for Tango and Tango Plus fares been updated to reflect the new baggage rules . (5.08)

7. Remarks are added for Pacific Coastal Airlines. (5.08)

8. "Proof of Citizenship Only Required" has been removed as an option in the documentation remarks. (5.08)

9. Change fees for the Air Canada Tango, Tango Plus and Tourist fares are updated (5.09).

10. The change fee for WestJet is updated to reflect the $50 fee. (5.09)

11. The Corporate Express remarks reflect their new Calgary departure location. (5.15)

12. AC web bookings remarks have been changed to reflect the fact that there is no longer a charge for the second checked bag. (5.18)

13. Baggage advisory remarks now advise to check with the airline regarding baggage allowances and extra baggage fees. (5.25)

14. Documentation remarks advising that ESTA approval is required for passengers travelling to the U.S.A. on the Visa Waiver Program are added. (5.26)

15. The change/cancellation fee for Pacific Coastal is updated to 30.00. (5.26)

16. The option to add WestJet web fare remarks has been added to the penalty/cancellation remarks menu. (5.28)

17. Tourist Fares have been removed from the AC Web Fares remarks menu. (5.30)

18. The Passport remarks option now includes the option to add Secure Flight remarks, in accordance with the new formats implemented by Sabre. It is recommended that Passport remarks continue to be used when Canadian citizens are travelling to the U.S. since a passport is the required documentation. Secure Flight remarks should primarily be used for travel within the U.S. (5.32)

19. AC Executive discount (lowest) fare remarks have been added to the options for AC Web Fares remarks menu. In addition, remarks reflecting differences in penalties for sun and international destinations have been added. (5.32)

20. Additional baggage remarks have been added to the documentation remarks for transborder itineraries, indicating that many U.S. carriers charge for all checked bags. (5.32)

21. In the remarks, the same-day change fee for Tango Plus fares has been updated to 75.00. (5.33)

22, In the Tango Plus fare remarks, the change fee for transborder travel is updated to $75.00. (5.34)

23. The script for adding passport remarks has been updated to reflect Air Canada’s change to using the 3DOCS format. (5.37)

24. A field for passgners middle name has been added to the script for adding secure flight and APIS remarks. (5.37)

25. Air Canada baggage remarks have been updated to reflect one free bag for transborder and Europe and two free bags for other locations. (5.41)

26. The script that adds passport and secure flight remarks will recognize when there are multiple P¥ remarks for multiple-passenger PNRs and will ask which P¥ lines to read the passport and date of birth information from. As a note, the script reads these remarks form profiles merged from ClientBase when passport and date of birth data are entered in the ClientBase profile (5.44)

27. The script that adds the P¥ lines to the STARs now has additional fields for passenger middle name and redress number. P¥NAME-LASTNAME/FIRSTNAME/MIDDLENAME AND P¥REDRESS-REDRESSNUMBER remarks will be added to the STAR as applicable, and will be read by the script that adds APIS (Passport) and Secure Flight remarks to the PNR.
