Accounting Functions

1. The script to change non-BSP accounting lines was truncating the space between CK and the passenger name number when reading from the existing accounting line. This has been fixed. (5.40)

2. The PER person accounting line option has been removed from the WestJet APAY script. The script will now use the ALL format, so the accounting line will have the total charges in the case of multi-passenger PNRs. (5.40)

3. The option for multiple forms of payment has been added to the AC web booking accounting script. (5.40)

4. For Porter bookings, the script will present a menu of commission options. (5.44).

5. The APAY script now offers the option to enter a separate accounting line for each seat selection fee. (5.53)

6. For client GST/HST on travel, the script will read the departure city and itinerary type and in most cases will default to the applicable tax rate. The full menu of options will be available for the agent to select the applicable rate. (5.54)

7. Adjusted guaranteed ticketing script so that it recognizes RC as a tax code and captures the taxes correctly. (5.55)

 PNR Remarks

1. Air Canada baggage remarks have been updated to reflect one free bag for transborder and Europe and two free bags for other locations.(5.41)

2. Penalty Remarks: when selecting “Ticket is Non-Refundable. Change Penalties Apply”, the option has been added to add only a general comment for instances where the specific penalty amount is not known (5.42)

3. The script that adds passport and secure flight remarks will recognize when there are multiple P¥ remarks for multiple-passenger PNRs and will ask which P¥ lines to read the passport and date of birth information from. As a note, the script reads these remarks form profiles merged from ClientBase when passport and date of birth data are entered in the ClientBase profile (5.44)

4. The script that adds the P¥ lines to the STARs now has additional fields for passenger middle name and redress number. P¥NAME-LASTNAME/FIRSTNAME/MIDDLENAME AND P¥REDRESS-REDRESSNUMBER remarks will be added to the STAR as applicable, and will be read by the script that adds APIS (Passport) and Secure Flight remarks to the PNR. (5.47)

5. The script that adds APIS (passport) remarks will use the new 5H- remark format for passport number for AA. (5.57)

Other

1. The service fees script reads the two character province code from the address field and then defaults to the applicable rate for client GST/HST on service fees. The full menu of options is available for the agent to select among, if another rate needs to be used, or if the script is not able to read the province code. As a note, if there are cases where the province is spelled out completely in STARs (eg. QUEBEC instead of PQ) then a dynamic STAR update can be done to change QUEBEC to PQ in the address field of all STARs. There are also notes regarding exceptions for hotel/car only bookings and consolidator bookings. (5.54)

2. The application that reads the province code from either line 3 or 4 of the address field, has been modified, so that if a valid Canadian province code is not found, the default in the drop down box is "-" and the script will not let you proceed until you select a valid GST/HST rate. (5.57)
