Quick-Pro Sabre Scripts

Quick-Pro is a productivity and quality control tool for Sabre travel agencies in Canada, designed to speed-up everyday procedures through the use of easy-to-follow menu selection and data input screens. Standard input formats achieve quality control, minimize accounting interface errors, and provide professional and complete documentation. Quick-Pro ensures that PNRs and STARs are created, and remarks are entered consistently by all travel counsellors in an agency.

Features

PNR Functions: Create or Add Items to PNR

Create PNRs either by moving client STARs or by using data-entry windows for names, addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses. Quick-Pro reads your itinerary and prompts to add fare penalty, cancellation fee, travel documentation, airline check-in, insurance, and Canadian airport AIF remarks. Quick-Pro prompts to add FQTV numbers, special meal requests, form of payment, ticketing time limits, customer numbers, market codes, a PNR extension segment, virtually there and electronic ticket advisory remarks. The Quick-Pro seat selection script displays seat maps for every flight segment in sequence and prompts you to specify seat numbers. If a STAR is used to create the PNR, Quick-Pro allows for easy moves of optional lines into the PNR and recognizes and prompts agents to read priority lines. Customer numbers are entered in the format specified by your agency.

If you have booked Westjet flight segments, Quick-Pro offers a "Process Westjet" booking function that adds an OTH segment, OSI remarks required by Westjet, and accounting line. If your client is not paying by credit card, Quick-Pro offers formats to account for the use of an agency credit card to submit payment to Westjet.

STAR Functions: Create, Edit, Rename, Clone, Purge, Restore, Dynamic Updates, Process N Queue

Quick-Pro creates and modifies first and second level STARs either by using data-entry windows, extracting information from an existing PNR, or a combination of both. Quick-Pro provides fast, error-free input of optional data such as family names, alternate phone numbers and addresses, e-mail address, form of payment, seat and special meal preferences, frequent flyer numbers, hotel and car preferences and corporate discount numbers, and other information. Other features include STAR cloning,  renaming, restoring, purging, requesting and processing dynamic STAR updates, and working the N Queue to determine if STARs should be purged or saved.

Ticketing and Pricing Functions

Service Fees

Quick-Pro makes it easy to add service fees to your PNR. An OTH segment that describes type of service fee and corresponding accounting line are added. Credit card information is read from the PNR. Default amounts are set up for the various items that you agency charges service fees for. These amounts can either be GST/HST inclusive or GST/HST added; you can specify if your client is GST/HST exempt. Vendor codes and optional items required by your accounting system are set-up for your agency. Quick-Pro provides options for adding information to the PNR so that service fees can be processed via Trams CC Merchant or via  batch file processing. There is also an option to process fees through the BSP TASF program.

Add Air, Tour, Cruise, MCO or Other Segments

Quick-Pro allows you to easily add segments to your PNR for flights, ITC or FIT tours, cruises, pre-paid hotels or cars, rail tickets and rail passes, bus bookings, pre-paid tickets and MCOs and other miscellaneous products. Also included is the ability to add an OTH segment to reference flights that are ticketed by consolidators or tour companies. After adding the segments, Quick-Pro adds product-specific penalty remarks, charter-carrier specific remarks, documentation and insurance remarks, and future queue placement lines for final payments, documents waiting and client return. Quick-Pro then prompts to add an accounting line to reference the segment as well as final payment and accounting summary remarks.

Add GK Hotel and Car Segments

Quick-Pro adds hotel or car bookings that were not made in Sabre to a PNR. Data-entry windows provide sufficient options to ensure that all appropriate information is entered in PNR and printed on the itinerary. Using this script ensures correct accounting interface format. For hotels, Quick-Pro can capture hotel address and phone number information from a hotel description in Sabre. After the segment is added, Quick-Pro prompts to add hotel cancellation policy and penalty remarks.

Add Insurance

Quick-Pro provides access to the RBC, Ingle Blue Cross Atlantic or other insurance company scripts that you have installed. Quick-Pro prompts to add an insurance validity segment for an insurance-only booking. Quick-Pro also provides the option to enter an insurance segment and associated accounting line for insurance not booked with an insurance company script.

Add / Modify / Move PNR Itinerary Remarks

Quick-Pro remarks are normally added either automatically or by prompt through the PNR creation or other functions. If you need to add additional remarks or to modify existing remarks, Quick-Pro gives you full flexibility through this script function. Remarks  can be added for fare penalty, travel documentation, airline check-in, insurance acceptance/decline, seat selection, fare savings, electronic ticket advisory, AIF, Toronto terminal change, virtually there, passenger emergency contact, charter-carrier, tour or cruise bookings, hotel cancellation policy, and car rental policy. Quick-Pro also allows you to easily add or modify segment-associated remarks.

Airline Reference Information / ETA Visa Functions

Quick-Pro provides menu access to Air Canada DRI frequent flier program information and city information, and checks frequent flier and baggage agreements between airlines. For the ETA Electronic Visa System, Quick-Pro provides easy to use data entry windows for for issuing electronic visas and checking the status of pending visa requests.

Quick-Pro is SABREscan friendly - multiple lines are combined in one SABRE entry wherever possible to help you avoid SABREscan charges.

Price: $799. Branch offices with the same vendor and service fees information are $100 per branch. These prices include a reference manual, updates and toll-free support for a one-year period. After the one-year period, the annual update and support fee is $199 per main office and $60 per branch office. There is also a pay-as-you-go annual support plan.
